Ice Hockey - Melbourne Mustangs V Perth Thunder

A couple of weeks ago I attended the Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) game between the Melbourne Mustangs and Perth Heat.

Ice hockey is played at the Melbourne Icehouse in the Docklands most weekends and is a great day out! It's an even better day out for photographers wanting to capture the action!

I'm back and panoramas from Merimbula

Earlier this year I went to Merimbula for a week for a holiday. It was a great place to relax and chill out and also a great place to take a few photos.

Today as I'm sitting in my studio with the heater blasting and the rain falling out side..typical Melbourne winter, I'm posting a couple of panoramas I took of the beach on a warm and sunny day in January!

Bees and Mid year break!

This will be my last post for a couple of weeks while I catch up on some other projects I keep putting off. I'll be back blogging on the 8th of July so it's only a short break until I'm back. 

Today I'm posting some more of my Macro photography that I've been experimenting with. These photos are of bees that frequent the native bushes in my front yard.

Ice Hockey-Melbourne Ice V Canberra Knights

I've recently started going to Ice Hockey games in Melbourne. There are two teams based in Melbourne, they are the Ice and Mustangs. I've decided to support the Ice!

Today's photos are from the Melbourne Ice and Canberra Knights game on the 25th Of May 2013.

 I didn't get as many shots as I had hoped as my battery charger didn't charge any of the three batteries I had with me! After 20 minutes all the batteries were dead. I did get a few shots however before the batteries all died.

iPhone Panorama Photography

Today's post is another in my series all about iphone panorama photography. The first of photos I have posted today was taken on my iphone when I was in New York a couple of years ago...I'm pretty sure it was an iphone 3. It was taken in DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass). 

The second photo was taken about a week ago showing the sun rise in Melbourne in the Docklands area.

There were 3-4 separate single photos taken. These photo's were then run through photoshop and stitched. I then used NIK software on each of the Panoramas to tidy them up and sharpen them as they were 'grainy' due to the low image resolution.

Singpore Toy Museum

Todays blog features the Singapore Toy Museum also known as MINT. MINT is a great place to see all the toys from days gone by and a great place to try toy photography.

It's one of my favorite museums and well worth a look if you ever visit singapore.

Squeaky Beach

Sorry for the late post this week but the week has flown! Todays post is for a magnificent area in Victoria's Wilsons Promontory - Squeaky Beach.

I was down there a few years ago and only found the photos I took when I was  cleaning up my hard drive. This is one of the panoramas I found that I adjusted in Photoshops CS6 and Nik software.
