I recently to my Canon 1DX down to a VFL game so I could start learning all the different sporting features it has. It's a lot more complicated than all of Canons other cameras. I've hardly had any opportunity to get to know the camera since I bought it!
There are alot of different auto focus settings for sport and it's trial and error for while I come to terms with each setting. The camera shoots at 13 frames per second!!, which is amazing for sport. I used to shoot with my 50D which was 6 FPS and I thought that was enough but the difference is huge...in sport it's the difference between capturing the exact moment or not...
Anyway, here are my first lot of test shots from Round 1 of the VFL game between Sandringham and Essendon at Trevor Barker Oval, Sandringham on the 19th of April 2015.
Enjoy and I'll see you next time!
