Premier League One Day Final

Today I'm posting a few shots I took with my Canon 1DX. This was my first proper try taking sports photos with it. I also used my Canon 100-400mm lens as well.

The speed rate of the Canon 1DX was first rate, capturing 13 fps, which when photographing fast moving sports, is the best going around.

My first shoot sing the Canon 1DX was at the Victoria Cricket League one day final on the 1st of February 2015, unfortunately black skies and rain was a problem all day and made shooting with the 100-400 lens difficult.

Welcome to my blog for 2015! 

It's hard to believe that we're aready into the 2nd month! Just before christmas last year I bought the canon 1DX so I can do some sports photography in the upcoming year.

It's an amazing camera! I took it to the cricket yesterday for it's first run shooting sports...there' a notebale difference shooting on the 1DX than on my old Canon 50D. 12 FPS compared to 6 FPS it doesnt seem like much but it's huge!

This year I'll be posting every two weeks for my blog so in two weeks I'll have some photos from the cricket to show.
