NSW National Parks

Earlier this year I headed up to NSW to have a holiday in Merimbula. While there I visited several NSW National parks to take some photographs.

The National parks did not disappoint. There was wildlife and birdlife everywhere! Today I'm posting a couple of photos I took while exploring. In the near future I'll post some more wildlife shots and some more Merimbula shots.

Hopefully next year I'll head back and get some more great shots. These wildlife shots were taken with my Canon 70-200mm lens and Canon 5D Mk 2 camera. I should have taken my 100-400mm lens as there were some sea eagles flying around, however they were too far away to photograph...

iPhone Panorama Photography

Today's post is all about iphone panorama photography. The photos I have posted today were all taken on my iphone when I was in Banff a couple of years ago...I'm pretty sure it was an iphone 3. These photo's were then run through photoshop and stitched. I then used NIK software to tidy them up and sharpen them as they were 'grainy' due to the low image resolution.

Enjoy and I'll see you next week!

Macro Photography

Today I'm posting another of my Macro shots.

In my blog's on the 10/12/2012 and 28/01/13, I featured some Macro shots I had taken in our very small garden. Those shots in the first post were mainly of flowers and petals, however the photos in the second series were of insects.

Today I'm posting a photo of a hungry caterpillar that was sitting on a flower. This shot was taken using my Canon 5D Mk2 and a Canon 100mm Macro lens with a Canon 2x extender.

Enjoy and I'll see you next week!

Washington DC

Washington DC is a great location for photographers. I was in Washington DC a couple of years back and enjoyed it. It's full of monuments and statutes along with some of the best museums in the world.

The Moon

Today's blog is a photo I took of the moon with my Canon 100-400mm Lens and the Canon 2X III Extender attached to it. I then ran the photo through Adobe Photoshop CS6, to give it the Black & white effect.
