San Diego Zoo

The San Diego Zoo is one of the most impressive zoos that I have visited. Just when you think you have seen everything, you realise that you're not even half way around this massive venue! There is so much to see in one day. In fact this zoo is so big it has it's own bus service to help you get around inside!

The zoo is located in Balboa Park, San Diego and houses over 3,700 animals from more than 650 species. It is also one of the few zoos in the world that houses the giant panda. The zoo will take a day to see the majority of the exhibitions (and that was us moving at a quick pace), in fact this really is a zoo that needs two days to see everything.

If you're heading there don't forget to pack your camera. Here are a few of my snaps from my visit last year!

See you next week!

Japan Panormas

Today I'm posting two of my favorite panoramas I took while in Japan.

The first photo is taken in the 1998 Winter Olympic City of Nagano. This panorama features the Zenkouji Temple in the snow. This was the first time I had ever been in falling snow so it was pretty amazing.

The second panorama is taken in downtown Osaka and captures the lights and action that is expected in a busy Japanese city.

Enjoy these and I'll see you next week.

New York City

One of the most vibrant and intense cities in the USA (or even earth) would have to be New York City. This truly is the city that never sleeps!

There is so much to see and do in NYC. It would take me forever to even try and begin to tell you what you where to begin.... New York is a great city to stroll around with your camera. NYC is home to one of the biggest camera stores I have ever been in, the massive B & H camera store. This store has everything you could think of and things you never thought of, to do with cameras/photography/film making. If you are in the neighborhood drop in and have a browse (tip-leave your credit card at home).

On the 16th of April 2012 I blogged photos from my walk around central park of the various and diverse wild life in NYC. In the future I'll be doing a few blogs about NYC.

Here are few of my photos from my last trip to NYC.

Even More Reptiles

I'm finally back...a week later than expected! Sorry about the delay however I've had some major computer issues which have now been fixed!

I thought I'd ease back into it so here are some more photos of reptiles that I have taken from my visits to the Melbourne Zoo and Australia Zoo in Queensland.
